Interpretation and Translation

Interpreters and translators are vital to immigration cases. Interpreters translate speech, and translators translate written documents. An attorney may need the help of one or both.

Prior training and/or certifications are not required to volunteer as an interpreter or translator with the Immigration Justice Campaign, we require only a letter of recommendation. The materials below provide practical guidance for volunteer interpreters and translators.
